Where everything lives

Your folder	You pick it on the account tab, default `~/.local/share/chaos/vault`. Every kept roll, claim and sync lands here as `<16 hex>.chaos` + `.png`.
`models/` next to it	Converted .cheng files.
`activated.json` in the folder	Seeds the registry confirmed on this install, with what it said. That's what lets a seed play offline.
`~/.config/chaos/settings.json`	The prefs: display stuff, registry URL, folder (`vault_dir`), theme, the model (`model_*`), pauses. The wallpaper reads the same file for the folder and the model.
`~/.config/chaos/session`	Your registry session token, mode 600. Sign out deletes it.
`~/.config/chaos/instance`	16 random bytes naming this install. Metadata in claims, never in a seed.
`~/.cache/chaos/plasma.log`	The wallpaper's log.

Settings.json keys

Seed, mode, monitors, wallpaper_fps	The window-less wallpaper mode (`chaos --wallpaper`).
Vsync, fps_cap, poster, theme	The window.
Layers, render_scale, MSAA, detail	Draw and cost. The app, the wallpaper mode and the plugin all read these.
Battery_cap, pause_on_battery, pause_on_fullscreen	The pauses, all off by default except the plugin's battery one.
Registry_url	Empty = the URL baked into the build.
Vault_dir, model_on, model_path, model_skin, model_color	Your folder and your model.
